General Information about Summer Program

What is the purpose of your summer program?
Our summer program is designed to provide a fun, safe, and enriching experience for children. We offer a variety of activities that promote creativity, physical fitness, teamwork, and learning. Our goal is to create a memorable summer while fostering personal growth, building new skills, and encouraging social interactions in a positive, supportive environment.

Is the program indoors, outdoors, or both?
Our program is a mix of both indoor and outdoor activities! We have spacious indoor facilities for arts, crafts, and workshops, and we also make use of outdoor spaces for physical activities like sports, nature walks, and free play. Outdoor time is a key part of our program, weather permitting, and we have plenty of shade, water breaks, and sunscreen available for hot days.

Will my child be supervised at all times?
Yes, your child will be supervised at all times by trained staff members. We maintain low child-to-staff ratios to ensure every child receives the attention and care they need. We follow strict safety protocols to provide a secure environment.

What are the age groups for the summer program?

The age groups will include individuals who are from grades 3-8 (e.g. ages 6-12 however, if children have an early birthday they can still be eligible)

What are the dates and times for the summer program?

No, all kids enrolled within the Summer Program will automatically be signed up for all trips with no cost.

Daily Schedule & Activities for Summer Program

What does a typical day look like?

Children make their way in the gym until everyone arrives, announcements for the day and quotes for the day will be said. They will then break off into groups in different classrooms, and then will follow the program itinerary for the day.

Should I pack lunch?

Food will be provided for free, however families can still pack lunches as they see fit.

Should I pack a bag?

Yes, we recommend that each child bring a labeled bag or backpack daily. This helps them keep track of their personal belongings. Items to include are:

  • A refillable water bottle

  • Sunscreen

  • A hat or cap for sun protection

  • A change of clothes (especially for younger children or play days)

  • Any program-specific items (we’ll let you know in advance)

Are the activities structured or do kids have free time?

Our program offers a balance between structured activities and free time. Each day includes planned activities such as arts, sports, and educational games, but we also incorporate free play, where kids can choose from a variety of options like playing in the playground and use their free time in other ways. This ensures that kids are engaged while also having the freedom to explore and relax.

How do you keep kids engaged throughout the day?

We focus on providing a dynamic range of activities that appeal to different interests, from physical activities to arts, science experiments, and creative play. Our staff is trained to adjust the day's flow based on the kids' energy levels and preferences, so they stay engaged without feeling overwhelmed. Each age group has a specific theme that ties the activities together, making the program both fun and educational. For example, our theme for this year is Titans of Time Channels, allowing youth to bond with the different childhood channels. The youth will be placed in various Titans (warriors) groups to compete and win games this summer as a team!

Do you have any field trips during the summer program?
Yes, we organize field trips during our summer program. For example, our theme for the summer is Titans of Times Channel, one of the trips included will be to Medieval Times to incorporate our theme. Field trips are an optional addition and are always communicated well in advance. Permission slips will be required, and we ensure that the trips are safe, age-appropriate, and fun!

Can my child participate in specific activities if they have a special interest?

Absolutely! While our program is designed to provide a well-rounded experience for all kids, we also encourage children to explore their individual interests. If your child has a particular passion—whether it’s art, sports, or something else—let us know during registration, and we will try to incorporate that into their experience.

How are the activities adapted for different age groups?

We carefully tailor activities to be age-appropriate. Younger children might focus on basic skills and imaginative play, while older kids will engage in more challenging games, problem-solving activities, and deeper learning opportunities. We ensure that all activities are both fun and developmentally appropriate, with a focus on fostering growth, cooperation, and creativity at each level.
